Reasons to Repeal:

Z

Children Under 18 May Acquire Cards

Z

Schools Must Have a "Caregiver" to Administer Medical Marijuana during School Hours

Section 95 forces school districts to allow a “caregiver" to administer marijuana in school during school hours.  Read for Yourself.

Section 16 of this law took away the jurisdiction of our local police and state police, to report a federal crime in one of these establishments.  Read for Yourself.

Z

Card Holders Must Surrender their Second Amendment Rights

When purchasing a firearm, ATF required documents (Form 1140) state that "The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside."  Checking YES will prevent approval.  All card holders are entered into a database, therefore your status is already known regardless of how you answer this question.

Z

Pop-Up Doc Shops Make it Easy to Obtain Cards

Medical marijuana cards are far too easy to obtain for conditions that do not meet the criteria according to the codified law.  The transient "offices" that exist only propagate this problem.  See Qualifying debilitating medical condictions definition list.

Z

Halt the Race into Total Drug Decriminalization

Look at what's happening in cities like Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and more—overdoses on the rise, users taking advantage of state-funded treatment on the decline, businesses terrorized by shoplifting, sections of cities unsafe to visit and more.  Is this what we want for our future in South Dakota?

Are you fed up enough YET?
